Voice Chat Comparison Chart

Have had a few questions why we use Mumble over other voice chat programs (Mainly why we dont use Skype). While Skype is a good program for one on one and conferances, its not really up to speed for gamming and such and does not offer the level of controle and flexability for a voice chat solution.

GOOD NEWS EVERY ONE!
We now answer to no one. XD
We have a vps server. Thanks to the hard work of the owners. We now run
our own server! Yeah we are set now. We are so good you probable never noticed
the switch. Thank Eldar for the work on the minecraft set up. He worked on the admin
panel for quite a while, And what went in to it. It took us a few days to get this all up and running, And a few all nighters. So we host
every thing from our own systems from now on. I’ve set up the us of other temp servers as well. Like L4D, Terraria, TF2, servers and so on.
The mumble server has a new ip as well. Check the servers page for updates. Admin page has been updated as well.

But were both glad to have this set up.
We have a creative map now.

Yep we have a creative map on the minecraft server. Members only though.
When you go there you will go in to creative mode. You will not be able to bring
back your items from the creative world. So no 2000 diamonds. 🙂
Don’t build to close to spawn. The entire map is a flat map. Build to your little
hearts content. Have fun.

The minecraft server may be going down for maintenance.
We are going to be changing the servers location sometime today.
The server we are on supposedly is old and may be suffering from hdd failures.
Or ssd degradation. So the ip will change what does that mean to you? Nothing.
The old address you use will still work I’ll have to move the domain name over for the new Ip.
So wish us luck. Were gonna need it!
Hoster issues and server hickups.

Just a FYI, we are looking at new hosters right now. The current level of support for these guys is horrable, most times the responce in a nutshell is “deal with it”. Over the past couple of days we have hit the disk quota, it seems, hence the “disk quota” error that some of you may have seen. Currently its working fine right now.
As for what this will affect when we move? Not really anything on your side other than less lag. All we will have to do is point the tbuminecraft.net address to the new server once we have it.
