Minecraft 1.3 Prerelease and old TBU1 Map

Minecraft 1.3 is now in Prerelease.

Another note on the release of 1.3, we will be bringing down the old TBU1 map. We will be adding a new map to take advantage of the updates to 1.3.
There will be a limit to how far people can explore on the map, but it will be larg.
Donations

If you want to donate to help run the servers, please read everything first. As stated on that page, donating will got get you special treatment, or a unban if you are banned. It is all explained on the page.
Donating will go to the running of all the TBU servers, the website, and related fees.
Some changes

We will be doing some changes to a few things, one will be a new rank for each server. We are adding a new rank of Lead Admin, each server will have one.
Lead Admins:
Minecraft: Jimmyvbuck
GMod PNRP: CrazyKid
GMod Build Postman
Lead Admins will be above Super Admins and below Owners, they will be responsible to upholding the rules for all the admin and below people. Lead Admins will be in charg of updates when Owners are unable to get to the. Lead admins will also have more leway to take action without having to go through owners for their respective server, they will also be responsible to maintainance for the server as well.
Keep in mind, that does not mean they are the only one responsible for maintainance, updates, or rule enforcing, it is just part of the job. Postman and Crazykid have allready been running the GMod server in this way, so they allready have a idea on this.
Minecraft
As you know the Minecraft server is back up and will remain up now. I have created a sugestion section on the forums for ideas on how to make the server a better place.
Metroidfighter
Yes, Met has resigned as one of the owners of TBU, and we are all verry gratefull for all the hard work he has done for the group. TBU would not be where it is today if not for Met and the hard work he has done. Met will retain Admin here and there as he wants, and will still remain a member of TBU as long as he wants to be. We will all miss him.
TBU, Minecraft, and the future

Ok, as many of you have seen Met has resigned from TBU. I wish him well on his future endeavors.
This does not mean the end of TBU however. I will be picking up the Minecraft server, webpage, and mumble. I allready run the GMod server, so no problem there.
Once I have the Minecraft server I will start it back up. When I get the site and domains, there will be a hickup as I move it to my hoster that I allready have.
Mumble is free with the MC server, so there should not be a problem there.
Me and Lost will be meeting later on tonight about the details, and I will post more news then.
TBU will live on.

I’m not sure how long I’ll leave it up for. If it get’s any traffic, then it may stay.
Also if you have any trouble connecting the ip is > 66.150.214.25
If it get’s some traffic on it I’ll be setting up some admins, as well.
If you gave any ideas on mods, maps, gamemodes, Or settings the server should have let me know.
Please post them On the forums. There is already a topic open in the updates, under general.

Yeah sorry. It seems our host just isn’t there when you need them. Well the host for the mumble server anyways.
Then I thought why the hell should I bother with them, when I have a free server already.
So I’m setting up the free one for now. The address is the same, just use the new port 7090.
That’s it. It’s only 15, but if I need to I’ll bump it up.
