News and Updates related to TBU and TBU Servers
DayZ v1.7.7 Patch now available
The long awaited DayZ Patch 1.7.7 with some much needed bug fixes is now available. Crazy should have the TBU server updated to the new patch soon.
As for patch notes, there are too many to list on this site, for a full list of patch notes visit here.
PNRP and Build Servers are back up again
Both the PostNukeRP and Build Garrys Mod Servers are back up again.
Everything has been successfully converted to work with the new SteamPipe system.
PNRP and Build Server down due to update issue
As many of you know, Valve has changed over to the SteamPipe system for their games. This has caused some headaches in the modding world, and now the hosting world as well.
With this change over Valve has moved away from the HLDSUpdateTool to the new SteamCMD tool. As of now the HLDS tool will no longer update the server to the current version of GMod.
I am now working with our hoster to get the new tool configured correctly. This should not take that long, so the servers should be back up soon.
The Dev server will be back up either tonight or sometime this weekend since its not a high priority at the moment.
Update: 6/7/2013 9:50AM
Progress, but slow. The server will start up now and the database has been moved to the new folder. The reason for the delay is that with SteamPipe, everything is now placed in different folders. I am currently working with the hoster to get the game content uploaded and everything in its correct place.
DayZ Server Moved
Hey guys,
The Official DayZ server I have been hosting has moved to HFBservers. It is now on a new IP, and has been wiped. You may now feel free to set up a camp on our server. The benefits to switching hosts is that I can now fully configure the server down to the smallest detail. I will soon be looking into a server-side anti-cheat, and possible a custom loading screen. Come join if you like!
Update: Had to move the server to Atlanta due to lag issues in New York. Seems to be running a lot smoother.
SERVER IP: 74.119.147.154:2312
DayZ Hoster Move
Due to some issues with the current hoster, Crazy will be moving the DayZ server to a new hoster at the end of the month. If you join the server now your camp that you setup will be lost at the end of the month. All gear on your person should be fine since the server is a Public Hive, all equipped items are stored on the hive.
The previous hoster had a hard drive failure and lost the servers Instance ID, therefore loosing all the data and work that players had done on the server.
The new hoster does allow more customization and will be a public hive as well.
New connection info will be posted on the Server Section and the Forums when we have it.
