I’m sorry to hear that, but the issue with your server lagging was a DDoS attack, not any sort of issue on the control panel or our server itself. We didn’t notice anything was going on until we double checked the firewall and noticed that some packets weren’t being filtered and that an attack had been going on for a couple days. You weren’t the only one experiencing issues all of the sudden.

Regarding other hosts being cheaper, most other hosts are teenagers who are just looking for a little lunch money on the side so them making absolutely miniscule profit margins isn’t a problem for them. We pay for a lot of things, such as our trip to MineCon 2011 to be the official host for the Minecraft convention (this costed over $20,000 alone), we pay our technicians MUCH more than the average company, we own our hardware rather than renting from super cheap budget providers, etc. This is the primary problem with the Minecraft hosting market; anyone with a box, a third party control panel, and a billing center can be a host.

I sent out an email a couple days ago letting everyone know of a new control panel coming up and other improvements such as better support routes, and all of the suggestions you had are already being considered. We also got rid of the branding, and our control panel also features a section that shows you the CPU load, RAM usage, and even how many other services are on the box.

I’m sure you’ve already left to the other host, but please know that we aren’t overpriced in the slightest and what you were seeing wasn’t representative of our service at all, and that improvements are right around the corner. When I sent out that mass mail asking everyone to tell me what they wanted and what was wrong, all I got back were positive emails.

Considering we didn’t fulfill your expectations, I’ll refund your last month’s service and let you keep it until the end of the month. I’ll need to contact my billing manager to get you the refund, however. You can file an end-of-cycle cancellation request from My Services.

Sorry, not our fault. We let them know about the lag, and they were the ones to not do anything about it. We waited days for help never got any. Oh! I love the comment on other server providers. They seem kinda stuck up, Don’t they? Stop spending so much at a convention, and constraint on you business. Oh about that mass email seems he never got my reply.

😛 Oh our new provider has there own hardware, better control panel, Instant service, Forums, And most of all… NO LAG.
as of so far. I thought our users would like to know. We work for a users for free. What are there excuses.
