Story: 8/10
The main part of the story is very simple, but it serves the purpose intended for the player to move on.
Mainly this "Humans infected with a mutating virus. They are zombies now, and mutating in to worse things. You must survive!"
The only thing different here as with the first L4D is.... THE ZOMBIES ARE FAST! Making feel like you're really in danger during this story.
Also makes it so that you must work together to survive in this hell. The Characters are fun just like the were in the first. Valve has always
made interesting people in all there games thus far. For some reason players seem to hate one?

All in all there is not much of a story here. It sets you up to get to point A to B. Is it the walking dead? Fuck no! It does the job though, and never
get's in the way.
Game Play: 9/10
Well If your playing the solo game.... WELL IF!!! It really sucks! You must play with human players. The Npc's are really not helpful for the most part. If this was a solo game
it only would get a 4/10. Thank goodness it's multiplayer. The game soars at this point. If you play with friends this game can really suck you in for hours.
Can be a lot of fun/funny XD. I would say though play with friends that you know to get the full layer of fun! If you don't you take the risk of a troll ruining your game.
V.S is a 4VS4 setup, survivors against the monsters. This is were the game can shine, and fail. The game at times will feel a little unbalanced. Mainly is due to a players skill level. Also the survivors are up against ever harder odds. With a human behind the monsters. So if you can play with a really balanced clan it's fun. If not?
Prepare for anger, or complete boredom. With very one sided fights.
They also have other challenge modes. They can be fun at times, but I like to stick with the main co-op.
The monsters that I've been talking about are the special infected.
Hunter: A fast moving guy that can pin you to the ground.
Boomer: He will do no real damage, but if he explodes on you the screen goes murky, then you will be horded by every zombie in the area.
Smoker: Long tong fellow. Will tie you a noose, and hang your ass, or drag you in to a horde of zombies!
Spitter: One ugly thing that spits acid on you. Then on death leaves acid behind.
Charger: He's a hulk. He well..... Charges you! Then slams you in to dust.
Jockey: He....Kinda humps your head
He gets on your back, and rides you like a pony. Really odd. Really Frustrating. You lose total control.
The Witch: She is the only infected that won't attack you on sight. Unless you piss her off. No advised. She can rip you to shreds in a second.
Tank: He is the closest thing to a boss your gonna get. He is very hulk like. Powerful, Mean, Ugly, Can he smash you in to powder.
Sound: 8/10
The sound is good. From feeling total dread, to OMG WERE GONNA F'ING DIE! Then to total calm, and VICTORY!
So the music really fits the mood of this game.
The music in the game isn't really rocking mind you. It's more like a setting. Of you listen to it. It will give you queues to a hoard, or a tank coming down on top of you!
Graphics: 8/10
Nothing to write home to. They work real well to set the mood, and the level design is done really well. The textures are nicely done, mainly every things just fits right.
The only thing I would say is the color palette can be very drab at times. More so on other levels. It all has this very cool color palette.
This can be a good thing though. Meaning you really don't need a power house to run this game. Most systems built in the past 4 years can run this game.
Final Verdict: 8/10
This game is a blast! If you have friends that have it, and you wanna get it to join in it's a must. For the $19.99 that it costs on steam. You could do worse than L4D2.
Just watch some petty things. The zombies are unmovable even one! You have to knock them down, or kill them to get by. Meaning if one is standing in front there is no way past unless it's dead, or down. The game will use this to very cheap effect at times. Also you have to depend on others, if a special gets there mitts on you.
If you can look past the very few short comings this game has. You'll have a ton of fun.
