I think that it would be a good idea to have a Minecraft Lottery. We can do this plugin based, or by hand through the forums. There are many plugins out there that can do this, such as lottery+, but it would also be possible to do by hand also.

That makes no sense, if you want to do a lottery for something we could just do it, no reason for this thread unless you really want that plugin but you dont even have any reason to have it . I dont like the idea of having plugins with no or very little use.

Sorry you feel that way Jimmy, But i'm brainstorming new ways to get players on the server, because people want more than just plain old Minecraft. Servers that have features is what draw players in.

I do have to agree though, I am not sure lottery is soemthing we want to do exactly.

Keep the suggestions comming. Also, encourage new players to visit the forums.

A lottery is not something people look for in a server because lets be honest, not many uses for it and its very easy to do without any plugin. If we ever need to do a lottery, which again will very rarely have the need for, we can do it ourselfs. I could maybe see a need if we did a weekly lottery for something and if we had lots of people on the server, but we dont.

Just for the future when you suggest something i at least would like to see a possible use for it instead of just saying we could do it for no apparent reason lol
