I agree.

We will also be revising the rules if/when we convert to reflect the new environment.

Since the server will be whitelisted and not using bukkit we wont have to worry about setting up plots for people.

Good to see people are getting interested about the Tekkit server idea. ^_^

With a whitelist as well, we shouldn't have to worry too much about griefing, but we will have to be careful with the atomic stuff (dear god, it would be a nuclear holocaust XD), and the dimensional mods, since they do generate new worlds.
So if we do this, we'd have to clear the extra dimensions and mystcraft ages every once in a while to keep the memory clear.

Sounds smart to me. We can just say the myst worlds are..."unstable". Gives it some story flavor as well. Just don't clear 'em too often. Minimum 2-3 months between deletes, I'd think?

And the atomic stuff is half useless right now, Dragoon. I'm quite frustrated with it, actually.

Well, we can tell worlds apart by the number id they have after they're created (if not named), so we can save some of the ones that are used.
I'm talking more about the dimensional door pocket worlds, and the already unstable mystcraft ages that contain corruption.
They would hold no value to keep =P.

Well, I think we can safely swap the server over now. 9 to 0 is pretty clear.

Me and Lost will start work on this tonight, so the server will be down for a bit.
