I was traveling near Berezino with my friends "captain spaulding" and "lukus". Day 3 or 4 of survival. Shortly after hearing a helicopter pass overhead captain spaulding sighted two players traveling through the field towards our bus. He opened fire, and was a able to kill both players with his DMR. Me and Lukas, who were in town at the time headed out towards the bus. Lukas stayed behind. I went over to the bodies. Both were very well equipped. One had a M4A1 CCO SD and the other had an M4A1 holo sd. I picked up the holo sd, as it had an under-mounted grenade launcher. After gathering as many Stanag sd clips as I could carry (I also picked up a machete, and nv goggles), I headed back to the bus. Upon stashing the M4A1 HOLO SD, I was kicked for a cargo restriction. Upon rejoining, I was still inside the bus, with the gun in my inventory. I tried to lay prone, to get out of the bus, but this killed me. Shortly after re spawning, I was banned. In addition, captain spaulding retrieved the gun from my corpse, and upon dropping it on the ground after my warning, he too was kicked and subsequently banned. The bus, still contains a duplicate of the weapon. I understand the confusion, but at the time, I did not realize that this was an illegal item. This ban is a major setback, and we very much enjoy playing on your servers. Please consider this appeal.

edit: The players who I obtained the weapon from, both appeared to have the name "trogdor" though seeing the same name twice could have been an error on my part.

I've seen you and Captain Spaulding playing on US 1994 quite often. I'm sure you are aware by now that an M4A1 Holo SD (M4A1_HWS_GL_SD_Camo) is not a legitimate DayZ item. If you were both two random players I would have more than likely left you guys banned, but I understand your guys' situation as I've come across and killed players carrying illegal items.

Thank You very much. I would like to ask how we may remove the m4a1 holo sd from the bus. We don't want anything to do with it, and it's taking up a weapon slot.

You may be able to remove it by placing it into a fireplace and burning it.

Picking it up, and moving it/dropping it is what triggered the kick initially. Is there a way that an admin can remove it? We don't want to risk a ban.

No, there is no way I can remove it from a vehicle or player inventory. What I can do is instant message if you have steam, and I can temporarily unblock and then block the weapon allowing you to drop it on the ground. If you have steam, post your username here.

Machete's are perfectly legitimate items, added in 1.7.6 I believe (or maybe 1.7.5, not sure). I've added you on steam.
