Story: 1/10
There wasn't any story other than you go around as a survivor in Colorado killing zombies and bandits trying to survive.
Not that it really needed a story for this.
Gameplay: 2/10
-The controls of the character are a little clunky, being as you have little stamina that recharges pretty slowly.
-You also start with no weapons but a flashlight that does basically no damage against the things that want to kill you.
-Paying to win seems to be the only option to really get into the game, but why should I have to pay money to win in a game I already bought?
-The zombies are very glitchy in the fact they can magically mesh into the ground and seem to have miniature seizures when moving at all.
-You cannot jump more than half an inch off the ground or 2 inches forward even when sprinting. So this makes no sense to have. I did however enjoy the funny noise my character made while trying to attempt to do so.
-If you die you have the option to pay actual money to revive, or else you have to wait an entire hour to play that character again.
-This game doesn't seem like it's actually been released. It feels like it's still in Pre-Alpha stages.
-One of the good features, however, is the fact that you can switch in between first and third person views, and also have the option to choose which should you would like to view over.
Graphics/Setting: 1/10
To me personally, these graphics reminded me of the Nintendo 64. There seemed to be little effort in the making of the plants and shrubs around the area. The terrain and rocks were dull at best.
Audio: 1/10
There was nothing that I can recall to being an ambient sound. The only sounds I heard were my character gasping for air while trying to run, his attempt at jumping, other players, and the zombies.
The only music I heard was on the main menu, and that was annoying enough. It pretty much consisted of 3 notes and got old very fast.
Overall: 1/10
This game is not worth buying. It seems like a feeble attempt at a game that had so much more potential.
Even paying to win in a game you already purchased? That's a joke, and a bad way to conduct any business.
I am also going to post my recommendation on steam here because I feel like it
----------
As being the daily deal I thought it would be fun to try this game.
I heard before that it's not the best, but it didn't even cut it for pre(x8) alpha in my eyes.
You should totally buy this game if:
1. You love games that give you nothing but a useless flashlight to fight a 238789:1 ratio of zombies to players.
2. You think that zombies can be killed in about 5-10 good bashes to the skull, while in the game it takes well over 50...
3. You like the fact that anywhere you go without paying to win is absolutely impossible to get into without dying.
4. You feel a tingly feeling inside when the developer pushes a graphics update causing all Radeon cards to produce giant black squares onto your screen making it impossible to play.
5. You love Big Rigs and how they handle through the terrain and over bridges ^_^.
6. You are masochistic enough to play this copy and pasted game of War Inc. with all of its bugs and horrible mechanics.
7. You've suddenly lost all functions inside of your brain and desire to paste watered down strained feces to the ass of a chimpanzee.
8. You love to waste your hard earned money on stuff that will never be as good as a mod for a game made by someone in his spare time that got a fanbase going not by paying to win, but by making it decent enough to play, even with it's bugs and errors.
9. You're Winner! (You know who you are...)
Update: They have changed the game's name from "WarZ" to "Infestation: Survivor Stories" due to "Licensing issues" (which kinda reflects another point of why it's bad...).
Thanks for your time
