Batman Arkham Asylum
OK this is a Probably one of the best Batman games ever created.
Story: 8/10 Plays out like a batman comic. Your favorite characters are here. The story it's self plays out like the old Batman The Animated series from the 90's. Just... More adult. The ending is a little weak, But you never feel like they rushed anything with this game. It just feels good.
Game play: 7/10 This is the first batman game I've ever played that you feel like Batman! I know right.
You feel like your the dark night. Lurking around in the darkness. Finding the bad guys, and beating the lovely hell out of them, but don't think they are push overs. Your Batman, Not the blue wonder. So you need to be... Dare I say smart? Like the dark night. Choosing your battles wisely is needed this game. For the most part. The boss fights are well, err. Dumb. Only one boss fight will stand out, and that will be the Scare crow level.
The others are dodge, attack, rinse. The detective mode make the game a little easy at times. Since well you can see through walls, and gives great details about each one of the enemy's.
Sound: 8/10 Sounds great! The voice acting is top notch. Also the actors from the animated series revises there roles in this. Well not sure on all actors, just the main protagonist. The music feels just like it should when it's there. It feels batmany? Is that even a word. Oh well don't care it fits!
Graphics: 8/10 There not top notch, but it still looks great. Besides a few glitches here and there. The colors work. It feels dark, and has a very gothic feel. The only problem is you well be in the detective mode through most of the game. Which kinda sucks. But you will see what I mean if you play the game.
Over all: 8.5/10 A great game very fun. If your a Batman fan, This is a must have.
It has all the great voice actors from the Batman The cartoon show from the mid 90's reprising there roles for the Joker, Batman and others. It's a fun ride. But it's over a little to soon, but in a way it's a good thing never wheres out it's welcome. It's worth the buy, even if your not a batman fan. If you are though? Buy it now.
