When the lights in your room flicker when your pc first boots up.
When you have redundant features as a ups to keep your system running in black outs.
When you have to explain to every one else why a PC component is worth the $400 dollar cost.
When you have to build a pc around a game every two, or three years.
When you visit newegg every time there is a sale.
When your tower looks like the monolith from 2001 space odyssey.
When your friends see your pc room for the first time the first words are "Holly Shit?!, WTF, OMG, Is that yours?, Is that a pc?"
When you keep your pc off at night so not to keep you awake from all the lights.
If you hear the words "Dos, Bios, ROM, Promt, Fat, GHZ-MHZ, EMU, GUI, OS" You know immediately what they mean.
If you know the horrors of the 8 inch horror.
If you know of the horrors of running a series of drives back in the day.
If you knew basic. If you do your really geeky.... And old.
If you need a fan in your Computer room, Just for you to stay cool.
If family members wonder why your pc sounds like a small jet engine on start up.
If you start to undress while working on you computer.
If you have taught your self to type and eat/drink at the same time.
If you knew these abbreviated words before cell phones "OMG, ROFL, LOL, BRB, IKR," or any words like them.
If you ever had to defend spending $1000 dollars, or more to a loved one. To "upgrade" a PC you build a year ago.
When wondering why people use Linux/MacOs for gaming?!
When you truly know what Linux is really good for.... Here is a hint. Servers! Not really a hint. But hey it's a free OS.
When the words "Blue Screen, Vista, Virus, M.E., Black screen, Device not found, Boot.ini not found, Raid array drive not found" Strike You with fear or anger.
If you use these commands or programs more than once a month. CMD or Prompt, Task manager, ipconfig /all, service, Chkdsk.
Or if you laughed at any one of these you might be a PC GEEK!
