Tekkit has updated to a new recommended build. This build has many updates to most all the core mods in the pack as well as adding some new content. It also would update Minecraft to version 1.6.4 as well. The problem with this update is that the item ID's on many items have changed, and in order to upgrade we would have to start a whole new world. The current world and all of the existing dimensions would be lost. Me and Lost are testing the new update on the Dev server to find out how much has changed, and so far there are a lot of additions. I have not, as of this post, decided if we will update the server to the new version. I am leaning more towards upgrading. While losing everything is a blow, starting over does have its own challenge. |

If this update has that much to add, let's wait and see how much new content there is before upgrading. I mean, it would be essentially upgrading the base minecraft from version 1.5.2 to 1.6.4. This includes so many changes in the base game itself, like adding many more blocks, such as coal and lapis blocks, hay, and hardened clay etc... It also adds horses and the baby zombies/pigmen mobs. So this updating of the tekkit server brings quite a lot into consideration. At this time though, I believe I am leaning towards updating. |

what tekkit pack version is being used on the server at this moment?, so I can get everything set up for when or if I get whitelisted, plus the newest build is a little more complicated and id like to go back several builds |

Server is running Tekkit 1.1.10 currently. Keep in mind that we are looking at updating the server soon. If we do it will probably this week. From what I have seen, the new version is a little bit more complex than the current server version in some ways, and a bit more easier in others. Welcome to the server btw
