As I was watching a review on one of the new Minecraft Snapshots, I saw that they had added in a new boss mob, the Wither. How this thing is 'Created' makes it easy to grief and harass players. They are very powerful and when they are not attacking you, they attack passive mobs, making it possible to kill a person's animal farm very easily, and if they are not created in an enclosed area, they will fly off into oblivion, maybe to never be seen again by you, but it may come across ill prepared players. The downside to disallowing the creation of the Wither is that the Wither drops the Nether Star and the Nether Star is essential for making the Beacon Block. Also, they will be adding new crops, the carrot and the potato. These crops can be found most commonly in NPC villages. Carrots have a few uses, but most importantly, they will be used for breeding pigs. In addition to using carrots for breeding pigs, you will need seeds to breed chickens. |
